New - Postcards from France
La Poste in France has just issued a pack of 2 ready-stamped postcards which is ideal for primary children to send back to home &/or school in the UK.
It looks really easy to complete in simple language with boxes to tick for the weather and word and symbol stickers to add. Price 4,20 €
I’m off to France soon so will buy a pack and send one to myself; that leaves one spare, anybody want me to send them the other one? I promise to fill it in in very simple French so your class can read it easily. You’ll need to send an address!

Hi Jan
My class would love to receive a card if you still have a spare - They are Class 2, Kingswear Primary School, Lower Contour Road, Kingswear, Dartmouth, Devon TQ6 OBJ
They are really lovely-looking cards. When are you off? Down South or staying where the weather doesn’t get too hot? Have a great time whatever you do!

Volontiers Jo!,
Will take the address with me and post. Off to Lille; a quick hop nowadays on Eurostar from where I live, just up an escalator and change platform. St Pancras is almost like being at the Gare Midi in Brussels nowadays- Pain Quotidien and Neuhaus both have outlets there. Also the travel shop has maps of Paris and Lille; I always take quite a few (easy to collect a class set!). Can’t wait!
I actually really like Lille and it is very familiar to me (great shops), much under-rated and a very easy venue for school visits. Will post some photos when I get back.
Vive les vacances!
